Janine Tugonon made the Philippines proud when she was featured in Victoria's Secret Pink ad.
She followed this milestone with another career feat when she made it to the Top 30 of the NU MUSES global model search.
The first of its kind, the creator of treats! magazine Steve Shaw and fashion/beauty photographer David Bellemere are presently looking for the first NU MUSES Calendar models.
Through the process of online voting, 30 models had been selected, including our very own morena stunner.
On Instagram, the former beauty queen thanked those who had helped her.
She wrote, "Thank you to the judges and everyone who voted. Really appreciate it! It's gonna be fun fun fun. On to the final casting SOON!"
On September 28 (US time), the 12 finalists, who will be featured in the first NU MUSES 2017 calendar, will be announced.
NU MUSES started this project with the mission of bringing back the art of classic nude.
In a world where the female body has been overtly objectified, the founders wanted to highlight and "capture the elegance and romance of the female form."
On Janine's profile in the NU MUSES 2017 site, the aspiring model said she has no qualms about potentially baring it all for the camera.
She said, "Nudity for me is ART at its purest form. It is the bare, the untouched and the raw beauty that a woman can showcase and be proud of."
Janine finished first runner-up in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant.
