(L-R) Gabbi Garcia and Glaiza de Castro were both stunning during YES! 100 Most Beautiful Stars of 2017 launch event at Luxent Hotel in Quezon City on Tuesday night, July 11.

Korean face masks are currently all the rage.

Usually made with face-shaped paper sheets, they are soaked in nutrient-packed serums.

A wide range of face or beauty masks are available in the market for every skin type—from dry to oily or even mixed skin types.

GMA-7 stars Glaiza de Castro and Gabbi Garcia are just two of the local celebs who have been enjoying the magic of these masks.

In an interview held on July 11, at YES! magazine's 100 Most Beauty Stars of 2017 launch event, (Philippine Entertainment Portal) chatted with the two Encantadia Sanggre about this skincare trend.

Glaiza said the sheets take at least 15 minutes of her beauty routine.

Aside from these masks, the 29-year-old actress has discovered a new beauty product after her recent visit to South Korea.

She revealed, "Favorite ko talaga sa kanila yung mga face masks 'tapos meron isa akong pinurchase... well, favorite ko yung mga Innisfree, Tony Moly, Etude House, Nature republic, 'yang mga 'yan."

Then, she tried the hydro gel type, which has "snail mucin and gold extracts."

Aside from hydrating, brightening, and repairing dry, dull skin, snail mucin provides a visible boost to skin's elasticity, smoothing and tightening skin's appearance.

Glaiza continued, "Kasi before, yung ginagamit ko, yung mga sheets, yung paper, so ngayon meron silang bago sa Innisfree na hydro gel mask.

Mas matagal mo siyang ilalagay sa mukha mo 'tapos mas magmo-moist yung skin mo kasi para talaga siyang gel talaga sa mukha mo.

"So 'tapos paggising mo, bongga yung mukha mo."

Gabbi is also a K-beauty fan.

She told PEP, "Oo naman, kasi their skin kasi is very nice!

"I'm very particular with my face... I do not go to sleep without washing my face all the time.

"And when I wake up, I also wash my face and ayun toner. I also wear face masks."

She added, "Regular face mask lang like rice masks to keep your skin moisturized and rejuvenated lang."

Gabbi didn't reveal which K-beauty products she uses, but here's a list of rice masks you might want to try.

Tony Moly I'm Real rice Mask Sheet-Brightening, P78.

Etude House I Need You Rice Mask, P58.

Aside from her regular face masks, Gabbi also believes in the magic on putting on night serums.

She said, "Every other day ako nagma-mask and in between those, nagna-night cream naman ako."
