Denise Go-Ochoa gives tips on how to fake a natural flush.

A good workout doesn't just burn calories and releases endorphins in the body, it also gives you a great natural flush.

Ever wish you can replicate it using good ol' reliable makeup?

Applying blush-on can be tricky. Put on a little and it doesn't show, put on a lot and you might end up looking like a clown.

Luckily, the pros are here to help.

PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) sought the expertise of celebrity makeup artist Denise Go-Ochoa at the SM Beauty Holiday Hop held in SM Makati on November 10, Wednesday.

Denise's clients include Teen Queen Kathryn Bernardo, Alex Gonzaga, Julia Barretto, and Pop Superstar Sarah Geronimo.

Known for her signature style of fresh and natural looking makeup application, Denise said there's a simple trick to achieve the natural flush look.

"I would recommend mixing peach and pink [blush tones]," she told PEP.

"So normally what I would do is apply a peach-based blush underneath, then do'n ko siya papatungan ng pink after."

Combining the two blush shades will help create a softer and natural look.

"Sometimes your makeup looks different in certain lighting," Denise explained.

"Minsan pag nasa daylight ka, pink will look too pink. Peach will look too orange naman.

"[Pag yung camera] nag-flash naman, iba rin."

You don't need to burn a hole in your pocket to cop this look.

Instead of buying two separate blushes, look for a blush set that has both pink and peach tones.
