Eyes are popping and jaws are dropping still at the new billboard now mounted on EDSA showing veteran newscaster Korina Sanchez as the latest endorser of the Belo Medical Clinic.

She is a natural beauty, but her image on the billboard is nothing like the Rated K host's familiar face on television.

She's been done over beyond recognition, and netizens' reaction is one of shock and disbelief.

The "himala" is courtesy of Dra. Vicki Belo, and in a series of Instagram posts on Monday, January 15, Korina shared the treatments she underwent to achieve a younger look.

The first step was the Belo Thermage treatment.

She wrote, "Now, for those wondering: HOW DID HER FACE GET SO SMALL? Ok, mayroong himala. Care of Dra. Vicki Belo, haha!

"Here was the step by step:#korinasanchezforbelothermage

"1. So, four months before the billboard campaign, I did the Belo Thermage.

"I actually have done this every year for the past three years. That's deep heat infusion through radio frequency that makes the skin tight...

"now, we are ready for the next steps and I'm SO excited to make my face even thinner and tighter WITHOUT surgery..."

John Eric Ho, corporate communications head of Belo Medical Group, shared a few more details about this procedure in an e-mail exchange with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).

He said the Belo Thermage procedure is "the only non-invasive treatment that delivers tighter skin, renewed facial contours, and healthier collagen."

According to Ho, the procedure uses a patented radio frequency technology called "ThermaCool System," which has been clinically proven to reduce wrinkles and add more definition on your face.

Slight swelling is expected right after the procedure but it also delivers quick results.

This procedure can also be done on other areas of the body aside from the face.

It is also suggested to be done once every two years, and the results may last up to 24 months.

For her second procedure, Korina underwent the Embedded Protein Threads (EPT) treatment.

She wrote in a separate Instagram post, "2. Threads: Dra. Vicki embedded protein short threads, about eight per cheek.

"No pain after 30 minutes of topical anaesthesia. Wala akong naramdaman talaga."

Apart from erasing wrinkles, the procedure has lifted and tightened her face, and given her a sharper jawline that, Korina said, would have been "difficult to correct with Botox alone."

The instant effect of this procedure may last up to 4 to 6 months.

The last step was the Belo Vita Treatment.

Korina uploaded a video of the procedure on Instagram and wrote, "Step 3: BeloVita. It is microneedling infusion of hyaluronic acid under the skin and not just topically.

"May redness after but it is not masakit at all...and redness will subside after a few hours lang.

"what it does is cushion the skin from under and promote collagen production! I did it for my cheeks, forehead and NECK (I so need it there!). Watch..."

PRICE TAG. How deep should one's pocket be to achieve Korina's look?

Research and inquiries led PEP to these figures: the average minimum cost for the Belo Themage is at least PHP100,000.

Meanwhile, the EPT's minimum price is PHP15,000, depending on the number of threads used. Korina had it 16 times, 8 for each cheek, which roughly amount to PHP240,000.

Lastly, the Belo Vita treatment starts at PHP25,000+.

In total, one should put aside at least PHP365,000 to achieve Korina's new look.
