Vogue has put the spotlight on Kelsey Merritt, the first-ever Filipina model to walk the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
The international fashion magazine describes Kelsey as "not your average @victoriassecret model" on its official Instagram account.
Its caption reads, "The 22-year-old is the first Filipino to ever walk the iconic lingerie label's runway, a victory she shares with the country where she was born and raised until she moved to New York City last year.
"Here, she shares with us the beauty routine she did for her Victoria’s Secret casting: 'I wanted to bring out my best qualities—not cover them up.'"
Kelsey is thrilled to post on Instagram her first official gig with Vogue.
The Pampanga-based model writes, "I never imagined I would ever work with Vogue, so this is another one off of my bucket list!! I'm in tears of joy right now!"

VICTORIA'S SECRET RUNWAY DEBUT
Kelsey made her Victoria's Secret runway debut last November 8 (November 9, Manila time), when the lingerie brand filmed their iconic fashion show at Pier 94 in New York City.
The Filipino-American model took part in the PINK segment of the show.
PINK is Victoria's Secret line targeted for young women.
Over the weekend, Kelsey was still on a post-show high as she continued to post scenes from her debut.
She captioned one of her posts, "All I've been doing the past days is looking at photos from the #VSFashionShow and I can’t take the smile off of my face!
"I’m one happy girl."
