Coney Reyes's recent post was a "major throwback" from her high school days.
The first was her graduation photo, which was supposedly taken in 1970, five years before her television career was launched via Student Canteen.
The second was taken during her junior prom.
As a college student, Coney was a consistent dean's lister, and she also became a leader at Maryknoll College, which is presently known as Miriam College.
The year she finished her Bachelor of Arts, major in Communication Arts, degree in 1974, she became a finalist at the then-famous beauty contest, Baron Travel Girl.
The two photos were noticed by younger stars, who were awed by her beauty.
Chynna Ortaleza wrote, "Tita, you are beautiful."
Iza Calzado and Bela Padilla both agreed.
Ria Atayde exclaimed, "Wow."
Former Miss International Lara Quigaman dropped a heart emoji.
Meanwhile, multi-awarded actress Amy Austria remarked, "Grabe!!! Ganda mo talaga!"
Another reliable actress, Jackie Lou Blanco, commented, "Ganda."
On a separate note, Agot Isidro said, "Kulasa ka din," referring to her high-school alma mater St. Scholastica's College.
Some of Coney's followers noted her resemblance to Mikee Cojuangco, a young Meryl Streep, and even Ariana Grande.
