ILLUMINATORS
The highlighter trend from 2017 continued in 2018.

High-shine lacquered lips made a comeback on the beauty scene this 2018.

BLUE EYE SHADOW
Celebrities were more open to try bolder eye makeup colors this year, particularly the royal blue eye shadow.

SIDE SWEPT LOCKS AND SOFT WAVES
Catriona Gray sparked numerous trends this 2018, including her winning beauty look—hair swiped to the side with soft curls—at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant. The 24-year-old Bicolana beauty queen had the same hairstyle when she won at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant early this year.
