Erich Gonzales says beautiful skin begins with "taking care of yourself."
Erich Gonzales invests in skin care.
The 28-year-old actress firmly believes that it is an essential prerequisite for one's well-being.
"Ang masasabi ko lang, prioritize yourself. It's super important," Erich told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last February 21, at the launch of Snail White in Whitespace, Makati City.
"Believer talaga ako na it starts from taking care of yourself, your skin—everything."
The Star Magic talent also underlined positive thinking, which helps reduce stress.
"Siguro, it's all about ano na rin, kailangan positive-thinking ka talaga.
"You surround yourself with positive people, and enough na with any negativity kasi magre-reflect iyan sa iyo.
"Make-up can only do so much, di ba? Kung stressed ka from within, iba ang makikita mo.
"Pero pag at peace ka and you take care of your skin also, magiging nice ang effect niya."
THAI SKIN CARE
To keep her skin flawless, the Kapamilya star admitted to having a 12-step skin-care routine.
She said, "Madami, hindi lang 10! Sige na nga, baka nasa mga 12.
"Nag-iinvest talaga ako sa skin care.
"Hindi enough na maganda lang yung make-up mo, di ba?"
Erich swore by the brightening and nourishing effects of Thai skin-care products.
She exclaimed, "Iba talaga yung glow, kahit walang make-up! No echos!"
During her recent visit to Bangkok, Thailand, she hoarded "soap, everything."
Erich continued, "May mga products din kasi sa Bangkok na wala pa rito, and ayun, kinuha ko silang lahat! Nag-shopping ako."
Referring to the brand she is endorsing, she said, "Aside from the Whip Soap, favorite ko talaga yung moisture facial cream.
"It's perfect for our weather also. Hindi siya sticky yung feel.
"And absorbent siya talaga, like puwede siyang kunyare primer or base sa every-day makeup mo.
"The fact na mafi-feel mo yung effect niya right away, brighter and firmer talaga yung face after using it."
