Kathryn Bernardo is now ready to become a full-fledged woman.
After taking on mature roles in the 2015 remake of the hit telenovela Pangako Sa 'Yo and the 2016 blockbuster hit Barcelona: A Love Untold, Kathryn has been moving on from her status as "Teen Queen" and has begun her transformation into an onscreen superstar.
For years, her loyal fans have witnessed the young star's gradual rise to stardom.
Kathryn began her acting career in 2003 as a bright-eyed seven-year-old with a natural knack for the craft.
Her evolution was steady, but it helped the now 20-year-old actress to embrace every change that came her way.
Thus the child actress grew into the Kathryn Bernardo we adore today.
Indeed, one of her personal hashtags #ChangeIsBeautiful is fitting.
This year, Kathryn's journey to become a mature Filipina continues as she takes on a new role in her career.
At the unveiling of Pond's newest skincare products last February 22 at the Maybank Performing Arts Theater in Bonifacio Global City, Kathryn was revealed as one of the newest members of the Pond's Beauty Council.
This was a dream come true for the young Kathryn.
"Growing up kasi very familiar na ako with their brand, and every time nakikita ko iyong campaigns nila, sabi ko, 'One day magiging part ako n'yan!'
"And tonight, it happened!"
The new face for Pond's White Beauty was "in awe."
Joining Kathryn as one of the new Pond's ambassadors was teen actress Sofia Andres, who is the face of the new and improved Pond's Acne Clear.
The 18-year-old said, "I feel honored and blessed to be part of this family.
"I'm proud I'm here."
Meanwhile, married women headline Pond's Age Miracle ranges.
Toni Gonzaga-Soriano, 33 years old, spoke for the hardworking mothers who continuously strive to be their most beautiful.
She declared, "Happy to welcome the beautiful changes of Pond's!"
As a TV personality and a first-time mom, Toni represents the empowered family women who have found their stride after years of triumphs and failures.
For the women who are proud to be in their 40s, model and host Joey Mead King proves that aging can be a beautiful process if you embrace it.
"Change is inevitable, and I think sometimes you get to be a bit scared to move into that, but I think being able to embrace change it levels you up," Joey said.
"As women, it's important that we strive to inspire and empower one another. We all have the strength and grace to transform the toughest changes into something beautiful."
