Dionisia Pacquiao celebrates 70th birthday with simple dinner

Dionisia Pacquiao, the mother of boxing champ turned senator Manny Pacquiao, celebrated her 70th birthday with a simple dinner on Tuesday night, May 14.

Mommy D (her nickname) officially turned 70 years old on Wednesday, May 15.

Her birthday salubong, which was held at their home in General Santos City, was attended by Sen. Manny and his wife Jinkee.

Her children Bobby, Rogelio, Isidra, Domingo, and Liza also made time for the family gathering.

Sen. Manny shared some photos, and captioned them with a touching message.

He wrote, "Mom, I can’t put into words how much you mean to all of us!

"All the hard work and selflessness to get us to where we are today. Happy 70th Birthday Mommy D."

Jinkee also greeted Mommy D on her Instagram account.

She wrote, "Happy 70th Birthday Mommy D. We love you so much!

"God Bless You, More! #aboutlastnight #mommyD@70 #family??"

In one of the photos, Mommy D was seen holding gifts while hugging Manny.

Last year, on her 69th birthday, she received a brand new van from the boxing champ.
