Frankie Pangilinan is off to college in New York, U.S.A.
The 18-year-old daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Senator Francis "Kiko" Pangilinan has just graduated from high school earlier today, June 7, at The Beacon Academy in Biñan, Laguna.
Frankie's family was there in full force—Sharon, Senator Kiko, and her siblings Miel and Miguel—including her cousins Kaila and Stella.
Frankie's half-sister KC Concepcion could not make it to the ceremony, but she posted her congratulatory message on Instagram.
KC wrote, "It's your high school grad and I'm extremely proud of you for getting this far!!! [hearts emoji]
"I'm so sad in a way cuz you're no longer the little girl I first loved, but I'm excited to share new adventures- more early morning donut runs etc with you!! Especially when we both find ourselves in [U.S.A flag] [wacky face emoji]!!!
"Love you Kakie!!! Congratulations luv!!! College is coming [black heart] [hearts emoji] @frankiepangilinan"
KC is the daughter of Sharon with actor Gabby Concepcion.
Senator Kiko made sure to capture the moment when Frankie received her diploma on stage.
He captioned the photo: "Congratulations to my darling Frankie! Proud of you, proud that you hurdled the challenges, faced acid tests and got things done. We did it! Now off to College."
After the ceremony, the father and daughter took a selfie together.
Sharon, meanwhile, has filled up her Instagram feed with photos of the occasion.
In May, Sharon expressed mixed emotions over Frankie's move to college.
"Oh my Baba...Mama will miss you every single day..." she wrote.
"How am I gonna eat when I’m home with the family — and seeing your empty seat beside me?!!! Waaaaah!! I can't!!!"
Frankie is set to leave for her studies in New York in August.
