Makisig Morales is now married to Miss Earth Australia Charity 2017 Nicole Joson.
THe former child star announced the good news via an Instagram post on June 19, 2019, two days after their beach wedding.
His caption was lifted from Ephesians 5:25-33, which tackled how husbands should treat their wives. It read, "Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish. In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church..."
The Bagani actor whose family migrated to Australia in 2014 added, "I did not look for love, but instead love found me and brought me back to him. I am grateful to be your other half my love. I love you..."
In January of this year, Makisig and Nicole posted photos of them clad in white ensembles.
The beauty queen wrote, "A man who would lead you to God and not sin, is always worth the wait."
The scenic Sydney suburb La Perouse served as their picturesque backdrop.
Makisig's caption for his January 31 post read, "Two hearts that beat as one [heart emoji]."
The couple announced their engagement through separate Instagram posts on their respective accounts.
On September 1, 2018, Makisig officially introduced Nicole as his "fiancee."
It was the second time she appeared on his feed.
He popped the question over a special dinner in Perth, Australia.
On the same day, Nicole posted a photo with Makisig holding her hand and a plate of dessert treats with the words, "Will you marry me?"
Her caption read, "He stole my heart, so I'm stealing his last name."
Makisig entered showbiz at the age of five when he joined the "Duet Bulilit" segment of the now-defunct Kapamilya noontime show Magandang Tanghali Bayan. He was nine when he finished second place at the Little Big Star. He became famous for portraying the title role in Super Inggo.
Congratulations and best wishes, Makisig and Nicole!
