After nearly three months in the U.S., Liza Soberano is back in Manila.
"So happy to be home [blue heart]," the 21-year-old actress writes in her latest post on Instagram.
To celebrate her return, friends and family of the ABS-CBN actress threw a surprise party at her home yesterday, July 22.
Event stylist Gideon Hermosa adorned Liza's home with golden balloons and party streamers.
He covered the floor with petals, and lit up the place with decorative lamps.
Juan Carlo was the caterer.
Liza's boyfriend Enrique Gil was part of the welcoming committee.
The Kapamilya actor greeted her with a bouquet of sunflowers.
Liza's recent trip to the U.S. was initially meant to be two weeks long.
She flew out of the country in May for the second surgery addressing her finger bone fracture. However, the bone didn't heal from the first surgery, which took place in November 2018, and it also got infected.
As a result, Liza had to undergo two more finger surgeries.
After the fourth surgery, Liza revealed through a graphic Instagram post that her finger "will never function the same way again."
The Kapamilya star got her finger fractured on the set of the 2018 teleserye Bagani.
This became Liza's reason for backing out of the film Darna.
