Kim Chiu got a giant (literally!!!) surprise from boyfriend Xian Lim on Valentine's Day.
Just when she thought she wouldn't be getting flowers this year, the VIVA actor arrived with an eight-foot-high bouquet.
On Instagram, the 29-year-old Kapamilya actress gushed, "Scrolling my IG while on the set taping looking at all the girls having their pretty bouquet of flowers posted on IG!!!
"Before the day ends... here I am having my own HUGE, Pretty BOUQUET!!!! thank you xi!!!!"
Arranged by Fig & Vine Floral Studio, it has more than 100 Ecuadorian roses, moth orchids, and carnations.
Curious about the cost? To give you an idea, the floral shop's Valentine's Day 2020 catalogue indicates that a Valentina (Grande) bouquet—which has "50 ecuadorian roses, gypsophila, misty blues, eucalytus leaves wrapped in layers of glassine and burlap"—is priced at PHP30,550.
For a moment, Kim was faced with a dilemma: "Paano ko kaya to iuwi??"
But she was more ecstatic than perplexed.
Kim continued, "Each year you never fail to surprise me! Still And will always will!!! Thank you xi!!! Thank you for putting such effort to surprise me!! Babae pala ako!! lels."
