JC de Vera's daughter Lana Athena has just turned two.
On Easter Sunday, April 12, JC and fiancée Rikkah Cruz marked the occasion with a simple birthday party at home with their family.
JC took to Instagram to greet his daughter and posted a video taken from their mini-celebration.
He wrote, "Mini-Celebration for our Princess [heart emoji] Happy Birthday dear! We love you! Thank you @honeyglazecakes for Lana’s Elmo-CookieMonster Cake."
In a separate post earlier that day, JC announced how grateful he was to have Lana in his life and shared his birthday wish for his daughter.
JC said (published as is): "Happy Birthday my dear Lana! Ang bilis dumaan ng 2 years. Here we go!
"We are so grateful to our Father dahil binigay ka nya sa amin! We’ll never ever get tired of thanking him.
"I pray to God that He will give you more strength and extreme energy everyday so you can continue to spread happiness and joy to everyone around you
"He will be happy too for sure! May your angels protect you all the time! God loves you! We love you!"
Since the country is on enhanced community quarantine, JC was not able to buy his daughter a present. But the proud father also said his time will always be his most precious gift.

JC first confirmed news of having a baby in May 2018.
The couple were engaged in November 2019.
In a previous interview, JC said he is waiting for Lana to learn how to walk because she will be his "little bride" in his wedding to Rikkah.
Last March, JC and Rikkah shared on Instagram their pre-nup photos taken against historic landmarks of Old Manila.
