Mark Herras and Nicole Donesa are having a baby boy.
The gender reveal was posted on their YouTube channel this Friday, September 18, 2020.
The small gender-reveal party was organized by Nicole's mother, the only one who, at that time, knew the baby's gender.
Even Mark was clueless.
He and the rest of the family had to open colored eggs to find out.
But every egg they opened turned out to be a dud. They sorted out the whole basket; still, nothing.
And then, Nicole's mother handed Mark a paper bag containing a large transparent egg.
Mark eagerly opened it and saw an envelope with a pink sticky note on it.
Hmmm, a baby girl, Nicole's wish.
Mark was already hugging Nicole when he was told to look again inside the egg.
Mark broke in tears when he saw a pair of blue shoes, a blue onesie, and a blue bonnet.
He got his wish for a baby son.
It took a while for Mark to stop crying.
Nicole is set to give birth in January 2021.
Baby Corky
Mark and Nicole announced the pregnancy on September 14. They shared the news through YouTube as well.
They gave their baby the nickname "Corky," which was a combination of all their names: “CO" from Nicole, "RK" from Mark, and "Y" from baby.
The couple, both GMA-7 talents, made their relationship public on August 20, 2019.
Almost a year later, in June 2020, the couple revealed their engagement.
Mark also has a seven-year-old daughter named Ada.
