Derek Ramsay's unico hijo Austin has reached the legal age in the country on Monday, June 28, 2021.
Austin, Derek's son with former girlfriend Mary Christine Jolly, is currently in Dubai with his mom.
In celebration of Austin's birthday, Derek posted on Instagram a touching birthday greeting for his son.
The actor-businessman wrote, "My little boy turns 18 today. We have had [our] ups and downs son but you know that I love you and I will always have your back. Enjoy over [there] in Dubai and I'll see you soon. Happy birthday @austinn_ramsay"
Derek accompanied his post with photos capturing some of his precious moments with Austin.

Derek's fiancé Ellen Adarna also greeted Austin on his birthday through a series of posts in her Instagram stories.
For her message, Ellen simply wrote, "Happy birthday @austinn_ramsay [emojis]"
Ellen also uploaded another photo of Austin with her son Elias, who celebrated his 3rd birthday on Sunday, June 27, 2021. In the photo, Ellen wrote "Cancer boys" since both Austin and Elias share the same zodiac sign.
Austin has been staying with Derek over the past five years while completing his education in the country,
Even then, it was only last April 2021 that Austin addressed Derek for the very first time as "Dad."
The real-life drama in the lanai area of Derek's Alabang home was recorded for posterity in a two-minute video by a family friend.
Derek hugged Austin, and wiped his tears after hearing his son call him "Dad."
