"The City of Firsts" has marked the beginning of the holiday season with the annual lighting of its iconic Giant Christmas tree.
Binibining Pilipinas 2021 queens and ABS-CBN celebrities led the “Believe in the Magic of Christmas”-themed event held at Araneta City in Cubao, Quezon City on Thursday night, November 11, 2021.

Present at the event were (L-R) Binibining Pilipinas 20211st runner up Gabby Basiano, Binibini Araneta City Francesca Taruc, Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold, Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2021 Samantha Panlilio, Miss Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella "Cindy" Faye Obeñita, and Binibining Pilipinas 2021 2nd runner-up Meiji Cruz.

The ladies were visibly thrilled to meet ABS-CBN actor Piolo Pascual who also performed at the event.
At one point, Piolo stood right in the middle of the beauty queens.
Next to him was Hannah who got a little starstruck.

In a video uploaded by pageant vlogger Adam Genato, Hannah is seen getting kilig while the host of the event introduced Piolo on the stage.
Hannah saw Adam's Instagram post, and commented, "OH MY G HEHEHEHEHEHEHE"

Miss Universe Philippines Tourism 2021 Katrina Dimaranan also reacted to Adam's video of Hannah's interaction with Piolo, and wrote, "PAPA P!!!! [emoji]"

CELEBRITY PERFORMANCES
Aside from Piolo, Star Magic talent AC Bonifacio also graced the event, and treated the attendees to a live performance of her debut single "Fool No Mo!"

Its Showtime's Tawag ng Tanghalan Season 5 grand winner Raven Umali virtually serenaded the attendees with his performance of Joe Cocker's "You Are So Beautiful."

Former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Maymay Entrata was feeling the holiday vibe and performed her 2017 original Christmas song "Merry Ang Pasko."

Meanwhile, all eyes were on Piolo Pascual when he sang his version of Ariel Rivera's "Sana Ngayon Pasko."

Aside from the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 beauty queens and Kapamilya stars, among those who attended the lighting event were Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte and Quezon City District 3 Councilor Wency Lagumbay.
