Celebrity beauty doctor Vicki Belo surprised ABS-CBN teen star Francine Diaz on her 18th birthday with an intimate party at her home in Makati City.
On January 26, 2022, Dra. Vicki transformed her Forbes Park mansion into "Casa Belo" inspired by the casita in the animated Disney film Encanto.
This was a day before Francine's actual birthday on January 27.
Dra. Vicki decided to organize an intimate party for Francine in lieu of a grand coming-out celebration that has to wait because of the pandemic.
On Thursday, February 3, 2022, Dra. Vicki shared on YouTube the highlights of Francine's birthday celebration.
In the video, Francine said she didn't really mind if her grand debut party was postponed because of the pandemic.
And anyhow, she said there was no need for the traditional 18 Roses at her celebration because her beloved grandfather was not there
Francine told Dra. Vicki, "Okay lang naman po, pero dati nilu-look forward ko yung 18 Roses.
"Pero ngayon, wala akong 18 Roses kasi wala yung lolo ko. Hindi ko siya gagawin kasi wala yung lolo ko.
"Very important po sa akin yung 18 Roses. Gusto ko po siya yung last dance. Pero, hindi na mangyayari so wala nang 18 Roses."
Francine also said all she wanted was a simple celebration for her birthday.
"Ako po talaga, ever since, sa bahay lang. As in bahay lang, 'tapos may mga bumabati, and I say, 'Thank you.' And then, that's it."
Now that she's 18, Francine said nothing much has changed except, perhaps, the pressure of reaching the legal age.
"For me, normal pa rin naman po. Actually, baliw pa rin, ayun naman po...
"Pero yung 18... feeling ko tumatanda na ako kasi ang daming nagsasabi, 'O, malaki ka na, matanda ka na, kaya mo na sarili mo, ah!'"
FRANCINE'S GIFTS
Aside from the party, Dra. Vicki pampered Francine with foot spa and Skin Reboot.
Dra. Vicki also prepared several gifts for the Kapamilya actress. But the gifts were hidden all over the living room of her mansion.
Dra. Vicki's daughter Scarlet Snow Belo helped Francine find her gifts, which included a Gucci candle. According to the brand's website, this is priced at USD430 or around PHP22,000.

The third one is a set of pillows with Francine's face printed on them.
Francine's fourth gift is a blown-up portrait of her shoot with Belo.
The fifth gift is a necklace.
The last one is the sudden appearance of her dad Jesus Michael Diaz and her mom Merdick Saenz-Diaz.
