Ruffa Gutierrez is now a college graduate!
On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, the 48-year-old celebrity mom took to Instagram to share her official graduation photo and reveal that she now has a bachelor's degree in communication arts.
Ruffa was able to finish her college studies through the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) of Philippine Women’s University (PWU).
The actress and host started her caption with a quote: “Don’t downgrade your dream just to fit your reality. Upgrade your conviction to match your destiny.”
Ruffa is also set to take part in her school's graduation ceremony happening next week.
She wrote, "I humbly want to share that I have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the Philippine Women’s University under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP).
"I am now gearing up for PWU’s 99th Commencement Exercises at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) next week.
"I would not have been able to successfully embark on my educational journey without the continuous guidance of PWU‘s ETEEAP team of professionals and the immeasurable support of my loved ones."
Ruffa also announced her next academic goal: master's degree.
"Because of my enduring commitment to continuously seeking knowledge and equipping myself with new skills that will help me prosper and fulfill my dreams in the ever-changing global scene, I also proudly share with you that I am officially an MA-ComArts student at PWU.
"The journey continues -- unstoppable! [emoji] To God be the glory! [emoji] #PWU103"
The comments section of Ruffa's post was filled with congratulatory messages from her closest friends and family members.
Lorin Gutierrez was very happy for her mom and wrote, "Yasss [emoji]"
Ruffa's brother Richard Gutierrez expressed how proud he is of his sister and wrote, "Congratulations @iloveruffag, we are proud of you [emoji]"
Richard's wife Sarah Lahbati commented, "A TRUE QUEEN! Beauty and brains. [emoji] so proud of you, ate! [emojis]"

In March 2022, Ruffa revealed on It's Showtime that she is finishing her final year in college.
The former beauty queen said at the time, "Naku, nag-aaral ako. Feeling niyo sexy babe lang ako. I had academic deadlines. Practicum ko na so tomorrow yung last day ko... I'm graduating college in July."
