Dawn Zulueta can hardly believe it's been 25 years since she tied the knot with Congressman Anton Lagdameo.
The couple celebrated their silver anniversary on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, with an intimate affair held at the Pearl Farm Beach Resort, the resort owned by Anton's family, located on the Island Garden City of Samal in Davao del Norte.
Dawn uploaded an Instagram Reel to share photos and videos of the celebration.
In the caption of her post, Dawn used the hashtags #27December1997 and #silverweddinganniversary and quipped, "Holy crap. We’re still married? You’re still my husband?"
The actress went on to give a touching message to her life partner.
She continued, "Happy Silver Wedding Anniversary, @aflagdameo [heart emoji]
"After 25 years with you, I can confidently say, loving you is the best thing that ever happened in my life. I love you for ever, Anton! [kiss emojis]"
Toward the end of her post, Dawn thanked their children Jacobo, 17, and Ayisha, 13, for capturing their precious moments.
Dawn wrote, "P.S. Thanks, kids, for trying not to laugh while taking our photos. That obviously didn’t help lol [heart emoji]"
The couple's friends from showbiz and politics congratulated them on their latest marriage milestone.
Among them were Navotas Congressman Toby Tiangco, and actresses Iza Calzado and Ruby Rodriguez.
In a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), Dawn talked about all the things she loves about her husband.
She said, "Si Anton, super loyal. Kay Anton, wala akong masamang tinapay doon. Si Anton talaga ay very faithful and very loyal.
"I'm glad kasi he's never given me any reason to doubt his fidelity. I think I am so blessed kasi I thought wala nang ganyang lalaki sa mundo.
"I thought all men are basically the same."
