CLAIM TO FAME
"Isip Bata" is It's Showtime's new segment that gathers kids who have been sensational online for their opinions on various topics.
In Argus's case, his shot to internet stardom came after a TikTok video showing his adorable request to his mom for "tinapay" went viral.
Pleading with his innocent and expressive eyes, Argus asked his mom to open the bread, add "yellow palaman," and "asukal," before putting the whole concoction into the "pindot pindot" (microwave).
When asked by his mom about the meaning of "pindot pindot," Argus replied, "yung brendel," showcasing his playful nature.
This amusing video served as many people's introduction to Argus, and thus, his fans became fondly known as "Ka-brendel."
Netizens also affectionately dubbed him "Tinapay Kid" since then.
Following his rise to prominence from the noontime show, Argus, along with his "Isip Bata" castmate Kulot, joined the Kapamilya family, and signed a two-year management contract.

Their witty banter and unbelievably cute interactions with the hosts of It's Showtime charmed the audience, further solidifying their status as beloved child wonders.
