February is proving to be a month of joyous festivities for Heart Evangelista as she gears up to celebrate not just one but two significant milestones in her life.
On February 14, 2024, the Kapuso star marks her 39th birthday. But the celebrations won't end there.
On February 15, 2024, Heart and Senator Chiz Escudero will toast their ninth wedding anniversary and have chosen to renew their vows in an intimate ceremony at the Balesin Island, the very place they first said "I do."
Heart said, "So, I'm turning 39, so technically no celebration really. And, so... it's also my anniversary with Chiz.
"So, we're also turning 9, but we don't celebrate 9. So, yes, we are going to have a renewal of vows. So, I'm very, very excited."
PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) caught up with Heart during her launch as the newest face of Ultherapy last Monday, February 5, 2024, at the Palacio De Memoria in Parañaque City.
RENEWAL OF VOWS
When questioned about their vow-renewal plans, Heart disclosed she and Chiz have opted for a more intimate gathering, surrounded by their loved ones.
"It's a very, very small gathering," Heart confirmed.
Significantly, this is her way of celebrating her recent realizations about love.
In her words, "It makes it very special for me because I thought I knew what love was.
"But now I know what love should be.
"And so, I feel like I'm getting married actually for the first time again.
"So, it's very, very special. Especially for a lot of untold stories. Char!"
Heart didn't delve into the details, but she went on rhapsodizing, "I feel like it's not really… I've never really denied, but people go through stuff.
"And I never really spoke about it. But it was a major, major one.
"So, I feel like we were really, as a married couple, it's really meaningful for us to have this moment.
"And there are just so many other things happening and coming. So, this is the perfect time for this."
So, what should love be? "Unconditional," Heart enthused.
HEART's BIRTHDAY WISH
Heart is not wishing for fanciful or extravagant gifts for her coming birthday.
Good health is all she wants, "Honestly, for me, health as well. Mawala na sa iyo lahat...
"If you have to have good health, you can achieve anything in life.
"For you and for your health. So, health for all of us."
