Congratulations, Cian!
As the latest celebrity kid to achieve academic excellence, Cian Cruz Larrazabal, the first-born son of Donna Cruz and Dr. Potenciano "Yong" Larrazabal III, has gained widespread attention on social media.

On July 29, 2024, his dad expressed immense pride in Cian's accomplishment in a heartfelt letter to him.
The opthalmologist wrote, "My boy is graduating magna cum laude today! I couldn’t be any prouder. Cian is finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Biology today. Congratulations, son!"
He continued, "Your mom and I are beaming with pride at your accomplishment and because of what you have done with the opportunities presented to you.
"You did not waste the chance to carve your own dreams and aspirations."
In his letter, Dr. Yong urged Cian to continue his journey with purpose and altruism.
"May you continue to do great so you may do good for others. Remember that every accomplishment is not only ours to celebrate, but also for others to benefit from.
"May your degree be more than just a piece of paper. I hope it also serves as a call to be there for the community."
Cian earned this significant milestone from Cebu Doctors' University in Mandaue City.
The Larrazabal family serves as board members of the university, and also owns Cebu Doctors University Hospital, where Dr. Yong runs a clinic.

At the moment, the Larrazabal family is enjoying a European tour, exploring Switzerland and Germany.
In Switzerland, they visited the famous Iseltwald dock in Iseltwald Village, a popular tourist spot featured in the hit K-drama series Crash Landing On You.
Their Swiss adventure also included stops in Zurich and the picturesque town of Zermatt.
On July 20, the whole family participated in the 2024 Köngsschlösser Marathon in Füssen, Germany.
A part of Dr. Yong's caption for the unforgettable experience read: "Wifey and the kids all finished 10km while I finished my 87th full marathon.
"I am the happiest to get this kind of support from them. They could have just waited for me at the finish line, but them doing the sport I am so passionate about feels euphoric.
"It is the best cheer one could get."

Reflecting on the journey of their children, Dr. Yong and Donna have always placed a high value on education and personal growth.
Back in 2021, the padre de pamilya exhibited the same immense pride when both their unica hija Belle Cruz Larrazabal and Cian graduated in the same academic year — Belle from college, and Cian from senior high school.

In a Facebook post on August 29, 2021, he wrote (published as is): "It is every parent's fulfillment to see their children graduate.
"So you can only imagine how happy I am to see this photo of them. Cian is finishing Senior High School while his Ate Belle is completing her Bachelor's Degree in Biology."
Dr. Yong candidly expressed: "I'll be honest, of course, I hope for them to become doctors like myself.
"But just seeing them do everything they can to fulfill their dreams is more than enough for me already.
"Friends, this is such a proud moment for me and my wife, Donna."
He then addressed their kids directly, imparting encouragement: "To my Belle and Cian, your mom and I are just so excited to see this photo of yours.
"It is the beginning of everything else you want to accomplish in life.
"We are just so happy that we can support you with everything that your heart desires.
"Soon, when God's plan starts to unfold for both of you, hopefully becoming doctors, you will also appreciate how blessed you are that you will have the capacity to help so many people.
"I love you guys, and congratulations!"
