Mall-goers were thrilled to see Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez making a special appearance at the celebration of Watsons' global milestone—the opening of its 8000th store—at SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City on Thursday, November 7, 2024.
The celebration started with an opening number from UPeepz, a dance crew champ from UP Diliman, setting the energy for the event with Black Eyed Peas' "Bebot" and SB19's "What?"
Shortly after, Regine appeared on stage dressed in a sparkly gown.
The iconic OPM singer shone brightly as she delivered her classic "You Are My Song."
After her performance, Regine was all smiles greeting the VIP guests.
"I'm very happy to be here. And I'm so honored to be singing for all of you."
Regine continued, "And you know, today is a momentous event and I'd like to congratulate Watsons for their 8000 stores! Oh my gosh! All over Asia!"
Before moving on to her next song, Regine reminisced about her first experience visiting a Watsons store.
She recounted, "I remember Watsons when I used to go to Hong Kong a lot 'cause I was promoting my album, all over Asia, actually.
"And I would go there just to buy pasalubong because everything is so, what do you call that, affordable. And everything's in Watsons!"
Following this nostalgic moment, Regine delivered a powerful rendition of her song "On The Wings of Love."

It has more self-checkout kiosks and Click & Collect services for swift 30-minute order pick-ups.
Additionally, Watsons Philippines features an online Health Supplement Advisor for personalized product guidance and live chat consultations with pharmacists.
