Magui Ford completes double major at University of Melbourne

On Thursday, April 3, 2025, Magui Ford happily puts out on Instagram that she has earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a Double Major in Economics and International Politics from the University of Melbourne.

Daniel Padilla's sister Margaret Fiona Ford Planas, also known as Magui Ford, has finally graduated from college.

On Friday, April 4, 2025, Magui happily announced on Instagram that she had completed her Bachelor of Arts with a Double Major in Economics and International Politics at the University of Melbourne.

The University of Melbourne is recognized as Australia's top university and ranks 13th globally in the 2025 QS World University Rankings.

While pursuing her studies, Magui also served as a research associate in Applied International Political Economy at the School of Social and Political Sciences.

Her Instagram post included photos of her clad in her graduation gown.

In the caption, Magui wrote (published as is): "[emojis] So blessed!! Eternally grateful to my pillars beyond words—my family for loving and encouraging me endlessly; and my friends who’ve kept me grounded. I hold you all very close to my heart."

Magui dedicated her recent achievement to her late friend, Sparkle talent and aspiring actor Andrei Sison, who passed away two years ago.

Her graduation coincided closely with the second anniversary of Andrei's passing.

Reflecting on Andrei's influence on her accomplishments, Magui said, "We did it, Drei," accompanied by two white heart emojis.

Andrei, along with his friends Paolo Bueza and Arman Velasco, tragically lost their lives in a car accident near New Intramuros Village on Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City, on March 24, 2023.

Sparkle talent Josh Ford, now a housemate on Pinoy Big Brother: Collab, was the sole survivor of the accident.

Meanwhile, Magui's mom, Karla Estrada, proudly celebrated her daughter's remarkable achievement.

She expressed her joy and pride on social media with a heartfelt message alongside a slideshow of Magui's graduation photos.

Karla wrote (published as is), "I am incredibly proud of you, anak, and I truly hope you achieve everything you set your heart on.

"May your life be filled with love for God, your family, and everyone around you.

"I will always be here, cheering you on and supporting you every step of the way.

"Thank you, anak, for your dedication and hard work. We Love You anak!"
