GMA-7 host Kim Atienza and his wife, Felicia Hung Atienza, are celebrating a milestone as their daughter, Eliana Atienza, officially graduated from college—with top honors.
In an Instagram post on May 18, 2026, Kuya Kim shared the happy news, revealing that Eliana completed her degree at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania (UPenn), one of the Ivy League schools in the United States.
Eliana graduated summa cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from the College of Arts and Sciences.
The university’s 270th Commencement for the Class of 2026 was held on Monday, May 18, at Franklin Field on the UPenn campus in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Aside from finishing her degree with highest honors, Eliana was also recognized for her work beyond the classroom.
According to Kuya Kim, she received the Elaine Simon Award for Social Justice, a recognition given to students who have made meaningful contributions in promoting social justice initiatives.
Eliana was likewise honored for her contributions to the city of Pennsylvania.
Kuya Kim shared photos and videos from Eliana’s graduation, with his wife Felicia and their son Jose III also there to celebrate.
