Vice Ganda turned 40 years old on Thursday, March 31.
He celebrated his birthday with family and close friends in San, Francisco, California.
While currently on a break from his hosting duties, Vice's It’s Showtime co-hosts Anne Curtis, Vhong Navarro, Karylle, Billy Crawford , Kim Atienza, Ryan Bang, Jugs, Teddy, Joey Marquez, Mariel Rodriguez, and Amy Perez greeted him live in the noontime show via phone patch.
Asked what he wants for his birthday, the Unkabogable star quipped, “I wish that you have a smaller mouth, Anne Curtis, when I come back home.”
On a serious note, Vice wished nothing but good health for himself and his loved ones.
"Ano ba ang wish ko? I am so happy right now.
“I'm in such a good place.
“I'm with my family, with people who really matter.
“Gusto ko maging mas okay lang ang health ko this year at health ng mga taong mahalaga sa akin.
“I want to be blessed with good health para mas maging effective pa ang trabaho ko para sa lahat, ” he said.
Vice temporarily left It’s Showtime in 2013 due to the polyps that developed in his vocal cords.
It worsened when he also suffered from acid reflux.
Vice was advised then by doctors to take steroids and have a total voice rest.
