Mariel Rodriguez has another reason, aside from transitioning into motherhood, to celebrate this year: 2016 marks her 10th anniversary as a noontime host.
A year after transferring to ABS-CBN in 2005, she became a co-host in Wowowee, the now-defunct show of Willie Revillame.
Mariel and her husband Robin Padilla's romance blossomed when they got to work in Pilipinas Win na Win--which replaced Wowowee in 2010 and was replaced by Happy Yipee Yehey in 2011.
When Mariel moved to TV5, she got reunited with Willie in Wil Time Big Time, then Wowowillie.
She returned to ABS-CBN in 2014, and joined It's Showtime, where she's been a co-host for almost two years now.
The six shows have made Mariel a noontime-show muse, and earned her a lot of friends, who all came to the baby shower she organized on September 3, in Discovery Primea, Makati City.

Toni Gonzaga, Mariel's co-host in Pinoy Big Brother, started her hosting career in Eat Bulaga!

She and Mariel got to work briefly in TV5's showbiz talk show Paparazzi.

The four ladies, including Grace Lee, have remained friends, and meet regularly even after Willie's show on TV5 went off-air in October 2013.
