Camille Prats will be tying the knot with her fiance VJ Yambao in an intimate garden wedding in Batangas this January 2017.


Camille Prats was “The Princess Bride” at her bridal shower held on Saturday, November 5, in Marco Polo Ortigas Hotel.

It can be recalled that the former child star portrayed Sarah, "ang munting prinsesa," in 1995.


Camille and her U.S.-based fiance VJ Yambao will be tying the knot in a garden wedding at the Nayomi Sanctuary Resort, Batangas on the first week of January.

The bride-to-be wore a customized shirt and full-length tutu skirt designed by Kat Corpus, who is also designing the after-party bridal dress.

Designer Patricia Santos will create the wedding gown.


Her sister-in-law Isabel Oli (left), wife of John Prats, organized this intimate bridal shower and also became the event’s host along with Sherilyn Tan.


Family and her close circle of friends attended the bridal shower.

Camille's co-star in Tabing Ilog will be marrying Paul Jake Castillo this December in Cebu.

In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and a few members of the press, Camille described her wedding as "nothing big, it’s nothing fancy."

She elaborated, "I really want to be with them and enjoy the night with them.

"We’re not having a lot of guests. It’s really kind of intimate like the ones that I am really close with parang itong shower lang din...

"I just want it to be personal."


Her fiance VJ had already arrived from the States. The two plan to settle here.

What if a better opportunity abroad comes along?

Camille said she's willing to relocate.

She actually likes the thought of living an entirely new kind of life elsewhere.

But she has to consider the preference of her eight-year-old son Nathan.

"Ang importante sa 'kin, nakikita ko rin sa kanya na masaya siya sa buhay namin, hindi lang dahil sa buhay ko.

"So if I see him happy, then I'll go for it. If not, then maybe no."

After the wedding, her immediate plan is to give Nathan a sibling.
