The long Halloween weekend became a much-needed break for Rochelle Pangilinan and Arthur Solinap.
Joining the cast of Pepito Manaloto in Japan, Rochelle was thankful to receive advice from the show's main star Michael V and his wife Ayo about marriage.
I,'" she told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) in a one-on-one chat during Camille Prats's bridal shower on November 5, in Marco Polo Ortigas Manila.
The couple, who got engaged last February 20, 2016, initially eyed a December wedding.
Rochelle related, “Actually sinet niya sa December, sinet niya.
“Kasi gusto niya December kasi gusto niya lahat ng tao masaya. Siyempre magpa-Pasko at nagbibigayan.
“Magaan na magaan sa kanya iyong Christmas."
At the time the supposed wedding was set, they only had two months left to prepare.
They felt it was not enough time.
Hence, “Second option, February," continued Rochelle.
They technically have three months to prepare. However, they have not really started doing anything.
She got busy with Encantadia, he became part of Oh My Mama.
Rochelle said, "Pero mukhang hindi kami aabot ng February.”
Next week, they really need to get the preparations started. One of the first few things they will do is talk to their manager Perry Lansigan.
WEDDING WISHES. She just wants an intimate wedding.
“Pero how I wish sa Tagaytay kami ipakasal. Intimate lang."
How about her wedding dress?
Rochelle said she'd rather save for what will happen after the wedding, than spend so much on the one-day affair.
Is having a baby part of their immediate plans?
"Minsan nakakainggit.
Tawag sa ’yo, ‘Dad’, ‘Mom’, ano kaya feeling no’n?"
But she would want to be ready for motherhood.
"No, enjoy muna," she said, before quickly adding, "pero gusto ko mabuntis agad."
