So how did the Dantes family celebrate Zia's birthday?

Dingdong gave his Instagram followers a clue.

He wrote, "[W]e celebrated her first birthday in the same place where we had out first date eight years ago."

If you followed their love story, you would know that he was referring to Sonya's Garden in Alfonso, Cavite.

The post was followed by a video of the birthday girl enjoying her food while being serenaded by a "kuya."

For Marian's part, she greeted her baby girl with a touching message.

"Happy birthday, Anak.

Like any other mom, the Kapuso Primetime Queen hopes her daughter will grow up to be a good person.

Along with the message was a photo of Dingdong's gift to Marian.

The actress revealed what her husband told her when he handed the gift: a mother-and-child painting of Marian and Zia by Mark Padernal.

I am so proud of you! I appreciate your efforts very much!'
