Michela Cazzola and James Yap's baby boy was officially welcomed to the Christian world.
On January 14, 2017, Baby MJ's parents and his 12 pairs of ninongs and ninangs trooped to Sanctuario de San Antonio in Forbes Park, Makati City for his baptism.
The proud dad wrote, "Welcome to the Christian world, baby Michael!! We love you very very much, son."
The basketball superstar also thanked his son's ninongs and ninangs "for attending the Holy Baptism of baby Michael."
He added, "We truly appreciate your presence and generosity. Love, James and Mic."
According to James's previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), he mentioned that most of his son's godfathers and godmothers were non-showbiz.
Included on the list was newscaster Julius Babao and wife Tintin Bersola-Babao, his manager Dondon Monteverde, Rain or Shine bosses Terry Que and Raymond Yu.
After the baptism, James's youngest child had a Little Prince-themed intimate party in Ayala, Alabang.
Little Prince is a play based on the children's book by the French author Antoine de Saint-Exupry.
This was also the first time the couple posted their baby's photo on social media.
In an interview with PEP, Mommy Michela mentioned that "it's a cultural thing" in Italy not to post any picture of a young baby.
