Aside from their fun experiences and adventures touring the Philippines, the candidates of Miss Universe 2016 will also forever treasure the friendships they developed with their fellow candidates.
Aside from her roomie Miss Malaysia Kiran Jassal, Philippine bet Maxine Medina has also found a BFF in Miss Venezuela's Mariam Habach.
Pageant fans were quick to notice the two ladies' blossoming friendship, and formed the hashtag #MariMax, which combines Maxine and Mariam's names.
It's no surprise they have grown close to each other since they have been participating in the same ancillary events of the Miss Universe pageant—in Vigan City, Baguio City, and Davao City.
