Courageous Caitie's parents happily welcomed their third child on Valentine’s Day, at St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City.
The birth becomes even more meaningful because their new baby, a girl, was born at the exact same time Caitie passed away on March 31, 2016.
"So surreal still... We lost Caitie around 11:25 a.m.... held her in our arms... and now our baby daughter came into this world at 11:25 a.m. on the day the world know it's all about love day," dad Jayjay Lucas wrote on Instagram and on the family's Facebook pages Courageous Caitie and Today With The Lucas.
"What are the chances...Thank you, Lord," he added.
Mom Feliz and the new baby are recovering well, according to Jayjay's post.
Back in November 2016, around eight months since the family laid Caitie to rest, Feliz and Jay announced via Facebook that they were expecting another baby.
Another post in December revealed that their third baby's due date is March 5, the same day Caitie was finally diagnosed with juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML) in Singapore.
"We just cried. What are the chances right?" a part of the post read. "Only God can replace pain with much joy."
