Beauty Gonzalez prayed and waited for the right man to marry.
She has found the one in art curator Norman Crisologo.
On the first day of March, in Sitio Remedios, Ilocos Norte, he asked for her hand in marriage.
"Sa totoo lang, ang laki ng pasasalamat ko kay God kasi I found a guy that I want to be married to.
"Sa awa ng Diyos, salamat,” she beamed.
Beauty and Norman have a daughter named Olivia, a blessing for both of them in their five years as a low-key couple.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the 25-year-old Kapamilya actress shared their wedding is set to happen this year.
She already has a wedding gown that she bought abroad, but how does Beauty feel about the whole preparations?
"Pressured, siyempre,” she said, "Nakaka-stress din pala mag-plan ng wedding.”
She related it will be a "small garden wedding… wala akong entourage, ako lang ang maglalakad.”
The engaged couple will not have wedding sponsors, only two witnesses at their wedding.
Beauty explained, ”Ayaw ko na magarbo masyado.
"Magarbo na yung suot ko, so tama na iyon."
Only a bunch of people are invited to their wedding, “Ako kasi, I only invite people sa wedding ko na alam ang storya namin,” Beauty said.
"Maliit lang talaga siya na wedding and simple lang."
As such, the ceremony is more likely to be closed to media.
Beauty begged for understanding, “Alam niyo naman si Norman is a very private person.
"Ang laking kapal ng mukha na yun kapag nagpa-interview siya.
"I respect his family, too."
