Couple Drew Arellano and Iya Villania tag their son as the family's "superstar."

The moment Drew Arellano and Iya Villania released a photo of their son Primo, the internet was hooked.

Primo’s chubby cheeks, big twinkling eyes, and infectious smile are enough to brighten up a gloomy day.

That's what his  proud parents call the “Primo Effect.”

At the launch of Home Foodie Season 3 last May 9, in GMA Network Center, Drew and Iya relish the fact that a lot of people find their son adorable as much as they do.

Iya affirmed Primo’s status as the Arellano’s rising superstar, “Actually, I have to say, totoo ‘yan! Kasi there are people na lumalapit sa ’min, wala silang pake sa ’min.

“Yung hinahanap talaga nila si Primo.

“So nakakatawa, nakakatuwa that Primo has this effect on people.”

Of course, the celeb mom knows exactly the full power of the “Primo Effect.”

“He’s just a ray of sunshine.

“Isang ngiti lang parang wala, e!

“And I receive a lot of messages from random people just wanting to have more from him, kasi yun daw yung pa-good vibes nila sa mga araw nila.

“So nakakatuwa na gano’n ang kanyang effect sa tao.”

FIRST MOTHER’S DAY. This year’s Mother’s Day will be Iya’s first time to revel the day as a mom.

Despite the anticipation for her first celebration, Iya admitted that the day will still be an occasion for her own mother and not for herself yet.

She said, “Mother’s Day kasi for me has also been about celebrating with own mom, and making it special for her.”

The Arellano trio will be spending Mother’s Day out of town.

Although it's going to be a working weekend for Drew, he intends to make the day special for his wife.

He told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and the press, “It’s working weekend for me, so it’s such a great thing that sila yung mag-a-adjust sa ’kin.

“Pinakaimportante naman ng magkasama kami on a special day which is Mother’s Day.”
