This year’s Father’s Day proved to be extra special for former child star Buboy Villar who is going to be a daddy soon.
On Instagram, he posted a sonogram of his soon-to-be daughter with fiancée Angillyn Gorens.
Buboy captioned, “Thank God sa blessing na eto.
“Anak ikaw ang the best best best best na nangyari sa buhay namin.
“I love you Angelica Nazareth!”
In an interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) last July 2016, the Encantadia actor revealed that he and his American fiancée have been living together, and are set to marry this year in the U.S.
While Buboy knew then that they were still young to get married, the 18-year-old Kapuso star was firm in his decision.
He told PEP, “Bakit pa namin patatagalin e nandito na kami sa puntong sobrang mahal na mahal namin ang isa’t isa?
“Oo, tama sila na mga bata pa kami para pasukin ang ganitong klaseng pagsasama at kailangan maghintay kami ng tamang panahon.
“Pero ang importante ay mahal namin ang isa’t isa.
“'Tsaka gusto ko na rin na magkaroon ng sarili kong pamilya balang-araw.”
Back to Angillyn’s pregnancy, the soon-to-be mommy posted a photo of her and Buboy on her social media accounts.
Angillyn wrote to Buboy, “Happy Father's Day @buboyvillar thank you for being there for me and especially for our baby.
“We love you so much!”
