The wedding of Arthur Solinap and Rochelle Pangilinan was both simple and elegant; fun and formal; a celebration of their love; a reunion with the people who matter to them.
Both the ceremony and reception were held at Los Arboles in Tagaytay City on August 8, 2017.
It was star-studded!
Almost all of the 19 pairs of principal sponsors were present to witness the couple exchange vows.

GUEST LIST. Present were Arthur’s co-stars in Pepito Manaloto, including Michael V, John Feir, Jake Vargas with girlfriend Inah de Belen, and Rochelle’s friends from Sexbomb.
Aside from TVJ and the big bosses, Rochelle’s Eat Bulaga! family—Pauleen Luna, Ruby Rodriguez, and Allan K—also came to the wedding.
On Instagram, she wrote, "Sa inyo ako nagsimula kaya naman malaking bagay sa akin ang pagpunta niyong lahat."
Also in attendance were Sunshine Dizon, Jolina Magdangal, Angelika dela Cruz, Andrea Torres,Max Collins and Pancho Magno, Hayden Kho Jr. and Dra. Vicki Belo, Alessandra de Rossi and Marc Abaya (who were inseparable that evening), Geoff Eigenmann, Wendell Ramos, Diana Zubiri, Mark Herras and Wyn Marquez, Aicelle Santos, Maricris Garcia, Rodjun Cruz and Dianne Medina, Luane Dee, Mika dela Cruz, Paul Salas, Barbie Imperial, and John Lapus.
While they weren’t able to attend the wedding ceremony, newly-married Congressman Alfred Vargas and Yasmine Espiritu-Vargas made sure to celebrate with Rochelle and Arthur at the reception.
DETAILS. The nine pairs of the entourage held a heart-shaped signage that represented each of the nine years that Rochelle and Arthur were together—from 2008 up to this year—before tying the knot.
The couple also did away with little girls that usually serve as flower girls. Instead, Rochelle’s “Bride’s Angels” made the processional more fun and laid-back as they showered the guests with flowers.
Bizu took care of the wedding menu, while Honey Glazed made the eight-tier, black wedding cake accented with flowers.
Michael Ruiz designed the beautiful venue's glass room.
The couple practically opened it.
PROGRAM. Of course, Rochelle’s friends from the Sexbomb Dancers were present. So were Arthur’s former co-members from the Abztract Dancers.
What happens when both the bride and groom are good dancers? A dance number like no other!
Rochelle pulled off some Magic Mike moves to the tune of Tom Jones’ “Sex Bomb." She was soon joined by some of her former co-Sexbomb Dancers. Both the groom and their guests were greatly entertained.
But Arthur was not one to be outdone by his wife, and also showed his moves together with his former colleagues at Abztract, which included cousin Dingdong Dantes.
Arthur, who never sings in front of other people, also pulled out all the stops when he sang “The Way You Look Tonight,” which brought tears to Rochelle’s eyes.
Accompanying him were his best men Dingdong (drums), John Feir and Carlo Gonzales (guitars), and Michael V (keyboard).
Musician Jay Durias, formerly of South Border, led the 14-piece orchestra that serenaded everyone during the wedding ceremony.
Power couple Ogie Alcasid and wife Regine Velasquez, who were also the sponsors of Rochelle and Arthur, crooned love songs at the reception.
Another ninang, singer Dulce, sang “Power of Your Love.”
The Agsunta Band, composed of trio Zhalia, Migz Haleco, and Dea Formileza, also provided entertainment.
In their “thank you” speech, the newlyweds thanked their set of hosts: Dingdong Dantes, Gabby Eigenmann, Max Collins, Mosang, John Feir, Ruby Rodriguez, Betong, Ogie Alcasid, and Michael V.
Also in the couple’s thank-you list was PPL Entertainment, particularly their manager Perry Lansigan (5th from right, 2nd row) who was among their ninongs.
“Kay Mama Perry, maraming-maraming salamat sa pagtayong ama sa amin,” said Rochelle.
Arthur continued, “Gusto ko lang sabihin na itong buong preparation ng wedding, sobrang gaan. Never tayong nagtalo, di ba?”
“Sa budget lang!” the groom quipped in jest.
“Ang gaan! Ang galing ng team na ‘to, and we’re blessed na kayo ang nag-ayos ng wedding namin.”
All in all, the wedding was simple but elegant. It was also inspiring—something Rochelle hoped their guests would remember.
And it was, indeed, one memorable dream that came true—in God’s perfect time.
