Rachelle Ann Go received the best gift on her 31st birthday: an engagement ring from her American boyfriend Martin Spies.
The memorable day for the couple happened on the beautiful beach of Boracay Island.
“September 5th was a memorable day! I've been praying about this!” said Rachelle Ann in a statement sent to PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other media this afternoon, September 8.
She added, “I am so grateful that finally, God has blessed me with a man that seeks Him first.
“I knew since day one that I will marry Martin.
“He has already fulfilled and will fulfill more promises...we just need to be patient and obey.
“His timing is always perfect. I am looking forward to more surprises.”
News about Rachelle's beau circulated in April, after the singer posted a cozy photo of them at Richard Rodgers Theater in New York, where they watched the Broadway production of Hamilton.
She confirmed their relationship through an Instagram post last August 23.
Based on LinkedIn, Martin is a business executive working for American luxury fitness company Equinox in New York.
