Max Collins says she and Pancho Magno did not expect to end up together.

The wedding of Max Collins, 25, and Pancho Magno, 30, is set to happen on December 11, 2017, at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.

Some of the couple’s sponsors will be Senator Manny Pacquiao and wife Jinkee, singer Kuh Ledesma, entrepreneur Ben Chan, talent manager Perry Lansigan, and director Maryo J. Delos Reyes.

Andrea Torres and Rochelle Pangilinan will be part of the bridal entourage.

Max says she wants her big day to be laid-back, "Yung garden-like kahit nasa city ka—we want to feel the garden vibes."

The Kapuso actress also reveals that she and Pancho have saved themselves for marriage, which is another reason why the two Kapuso stars see their wedding as something really special.

“We just want to make everything right in the eyes of God, that’s what's important to us,” Max explains. “Kasi that’s how God designs it, di ba?”

After the wedding, they have no plans of having a baby yet, Max says. She adds that they want to enjoy their new roles as husband and wife first.

The actress reveals these during the first Facebook Live session of PPL Entertainment Inc., the company managing Max's career.

PPL started the celebration of its eight anniversary last Saturday, September 9.

ON BENDED KNEE. Although they've been dating for four years, Max says she had not expected the proposal to come so soon.

Max recalls, “Parang hindi pa kami ready. It happened in Boracay.

“During that time, my mom was running for councilor sa Aklan.

The pair got engaged last April 28, but they formally announced this to the public only on May 13, while vacationing in Paris, France.

According to Max, the proposal was unexpected even if Pancho had already expressed his plans to get married.

At that time, Max admits, she had hesitations about settling down.

At 25 years old, she initially thought that tying the knot would get in the way of her showbiz career.

“I used to think that way,” she admitted. “But then I realized na magiging partner kami sa lahat.

“I have to consult him first and vice-versa, but we try to compromise with each other, kahit paano.”

Max, who attends Victory Christian Fellowship church, credits her Christian faith in helping her see marriage in a different light.

“Noong naging malapit ako sa Church, nakikita ko how in love yung mga pastor sa asawa nila, yung relationship nila as family.

“They’re such good examples, and we realized na we both want that also.

UNEXPECTED FOREVER. Max also reveals that she and Pancho did not expect to end up together.

She narrates with a laugh, “Hindi talaga, pati siya... kahit tanungin niyo siya.

But over time, the pair grew closer and also grew more mature.

Does she expect big changes when they’re finally wed?

“Bukod sa we’ll be living together, wala naman,” she replies with a smile.

“Well, may magbabago, but gradually, I guess. He’s close to my family kasi, and I’m close to his family, so magiging one big family na lang kami.”
