Another long-time celebrity couple will be saying their ‘I dos’ soon!
Fil-British Ben Wintle proposed to Iza Calzado surrounded by their closest circle of friends and family.
It happened over the weekend at Sonya's Garden in Tagaytay City.
Iza had no clue what was happening. She was walking down the garden path when she just saw everyone bringing out their phones and cameras.
And then there was Ben approaching her with a bouquet of flowers.
Only when he got down on one knee did it finally sink in, sending Iza to tears.
Well, important thing is, she said "yes."
In Preview’s short exchange with Rajo Laurel, a good friend of the couple who witnessed the proposal, the acclaimed designer revealed that Ben had been planning it for a month.
The British businessman already had the famous Tagaytay garden restaurant in mind for a perfect location because the place holds a special memory to Iza.
It was her late father Lito Calzado’s favorite place, and their last complete family photo was taken there.
Aside from Iza and Ben, here are other celebrity proposals that have made us believe in love again.
Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes
Marian and Dingdong had two engagements, the first was in August 2012 when he proposed at the MGM Butterfly Pavilion in Macau.
Dingdong had envisioned the scene with a dome of butterflies with “Kahit Maputi na ang Buhok Ko” playing in the background.
He would then deliver his promise of “forever” to Marian.
The execution of the proposal wasn’t perfect; nonetheless, Dingdong got a “yes.”
Only after two years did Dingdong and Marian come out with their engagement.
And along with with their announcement, the Kapuso actor staged his second proposal.
This time, Dingdong made sure he did it right.
It happened in Marian's now-defunct dance show, Marian, during her birthday special.
In front of a live audience, family, friends, and television viewers, Dingdong got down on one knee and asked Marian for her hand in marriage.

Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati
Richard chose the snow-covered Alps of Zermatt, Switzerland, as the backdrop of his wedding proposal to Sarah Lahbati earlier this year.
The locale is dear to Richard and Sarah, a place they've returned to often to celebrate their special occasions, most especially when they were expecting Zion.
“It’s honestly the most beautiful place on Earth,” Sarah told Preview.ph back in July.
The La Luna Sangre actor relied on his “gut feel” to pop the question as he and Sarah hiked up the Alps.
Behind a restaurant bar, Richard found the spot and captured the moment on his camera.
Kaye Abad and Paul Jake Castillo
Paul Jake chose a good cover to hide his wedding proposal to Kaye: her 34th birthday.
On May 17, 2016, Paul Jake rounded up their friends and family to surprise Kaye on her special day.
They held the surprise party on the rooftop of the Bellevue hotel in Filinvest, Alabang.
Everyone became teary-eyed when Paul Jake popped the question.
