GMA-7 actress Solenn Heussaff and husband Nico Bolzico celebrated Christmas separately.
Nico flew all the way to his hometown in Argentina to celebrate the yuletide season with his family.
Meanwhile, Solenn decided to stay for practical reasons. She only has one week off, and the trip to Argentina and back to Manila will take around three days.
"Not worth it na nandun lang ako ng four days" she said in a previous interview with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal).
The actress/ singer/ painter had a simple Christmas celebration with her family, along with her brother Erwan Heussaff and sister-in-law Anne Curtis-Smith, here in Manila.
On Christmas Day, Solenn went to catch some waves in Siargao sans her husband.
For his part, he found a creative way for them to be "together" even if there is a 17,318-kilometer distance separating them.
Early today, December 26, Nico posted their couple photo, and wrote, "'Distance is just an idea!' El Bolzico. Missing you in this special day! Merry Christmas everyone! #yesiquotemyself #sosbolz"
Solenn appreciated the gesture and wrote in the comments section of the post, "Miss you love!"
Nico is missing a lot including this boodle fight by the beach.
