Maxene Magalona is officially Mrs. Rob Mananquil.
The newlyweds held their laid-back-yet-elegant island wedding ceremony by the beachfront of Shangri-La's Boracay Resort & Spa.
Maxene was a picture of happiness as she met her groom in the Odelle bridal dress from Vera Wang's Iconic Wedding Dress Collection.
With family and friends celebrating the union of Maxene and Rob, the bride wanted to make sure that the memory of her late father, Francis Magalona, was remembered on her special day.
Just like her sister Saab, who wore a locket with a photo of their dad at her wedding back in January 2015, Maxene’s bridal bouquet had a locket attached to it.
Floral and event designer Teddy Manuel helped the bride achieve this, as “a touching sentiment to share and remember her father on her wedding.”
Apart from this, another way Maxene honored her father’s memory on her wedding day was during her walk down the aisle.
Instead of playing a typical wedding song, the 31-year-old Kapamilya actress chose none other than her own dad to sing her wedding march.
The Master Rapper’s 1996 hit “Girl Be Mine” played as she began her march.
Pia Magalona met her daughter halfway and gave her a tight hug before they met Rob at the altar.
