Yassi Pressman says meeting her older sister in Italy was the highlight of her 2017.

It’s no secret how much Yassi Pressman loves taking photos.

Take a quick scroll through her Instagram feed and you’ll see how she has captured every highlight of her life.

“I like taking photos and taking videos of moments!” the young Kapamilya star told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and a small group of press people during the launch of Samsung Galaxy A8 last January 18 at The Penthouse 8747 in Makati City.

The brand’s newest endorser added, “Kapag nag-scroll through ka, hindi lang yung photo nakikita mo.

"Naaalala mo yung feeling! Yun yung pinaka-heart ng photos ko!”

With the new year just starting, PEP.ph asked Yassi if she can sum up her 2017 in one photo.

She quickly reacted, “Ang hirap po nun!”

But she answered, “Siguro yung bumuo po talaga ng 2017 ko yung FPJ's Ang Probinsyano family ko.

“So, it’s any one of those group photos na lahat kami, for sure, tumatawa nung panahon na yun.”

According to Yassi, the primetime series has opened many doors to her, both in her career and personal life.

Among those opportunities came in the form of an unexpected reunion with her sisters.

The massive success of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano paved the way for the 22-year-old actress/performer and her younger sister, Issa, to meet up with their half-sister, Cara, in Italy last December.

MEETING ATE CARA. According to Yassi, that meeting with her Ate Cara after 22 years was one of the highlights of her 2017.

Yassi, Issa, and Cara met in Italy where Yassi did a special Kapamilya show for FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

The young star was at a loss for words as she tried to describe the feeling when she finally met her older sister.

She said, “Hindi ko ma-explain sa words kung ano yung feeling na mahanap mo yung kapatid mo in the middle of the world na never mo akalain na mami-meet mo.

“Kahit ano sigurong sabihin ko, it won’t be enough to say how happy I was, how heartwarming it was.

“She was just an amazing person, so ang sarap sa feeling na nahanap mo yun, [yung] isang butas ng buhay ko.”

She described the moment her Ate Cara stepped into the room, “Pagpasok ng pintuan, sabi ko, ‘Ang ganda mo, e!’

"Iyak lang ako!”

Yassi said she was also delighted to discover they have similar personalities.

“I’m funny, kahit medyo corny ako madalas!

“She’s funny, she’s fun, she’s 50 years old, pero young at heart.

"Parang 25 lang siya, mahilig din siya sa adventures, saka mabait. Mahilig makinig.”

After Yassi and Issa reuniited with Cara, the sisters hope to meet their other older half-sister, Shiobhan, in Australia soon.

“Sana this year!” Yassi said. “Sana makakuha ako ng kahit four days sana.”
