Two more Kapuso stars stand out among this year's batch of proud graduates.
StarStruck 6 Ultimate Female Survivor Klea Pineda recently finished her grade 12 studies at Springfield International School in Novaliches, Quezon City.
On the other hand, StarStruck 2 Avenger and Kapuso comedian Kevin Santos is now a licensed pilot, having finished his course at the Omni Aviation Corporation in Angeles, Pampanga.
Despite their busy showbiz schedules, both Klea and Kevin make it a point to prioritize their academics.
In Klea's case, she makes it a point to do her assignments, even if she's on location for her tapings for her weekly fantasy series, Sirkus.
“Every time wala akong taping pupunta akong school, half day para mag-exam.
“Minsan naman nagpapadala ng mga modules yung profs ko sa e-mail ko para sagutan ko.
“Gusto ko pong makatapos ng high school para makatuntong ako ng college.
“Importante po sa akin ang magkaroon ng diploma kaya pagod sa work, school pa rin ang priority natin,” the 17-year old Kapuso star disclosed during her interview with GMA-7's news program, 24 Oras.
GMA Artist Center proudly posted these two pics from Klea's graduation day:
TIME MANAGEMENT. According to Klea, it's not easy juggling her studies and showbiz commitments, especially when she hasn't had enough rest and sleep from her extended location shoots.
It's because of these little sacrifices that her recent achievement became more meaningful.
“I feel happy and thankful whenever I receive special blessings from God, such as this one.
“Also, seeing how proud my family and friends just make my heart melt.
“Honestly, it wasn't really easy!
“But you know, if you really want to achieve your goals, you have to find ways and give your best shot in everything you do.
“The key is time management and discipline,” she reveals.
MESSAGE. The proud Kapuso shared a message to her fellow graduates.
She said, “I would like to congratulate everyone!
"Not just my fellow graduates but also their loving and supportive parents.
"I pray that everyone will be able to follow their dreams.
"I wish them success on their journey!”
READY TO FLY. For his part, Kevin's journey had been just as arduous.
He has had his share of stints and guestings in several GMA shows before he landed his latest major role in the fantasy series Super Ma'am, which starred Marian Rivera.
The 29-year old comedian took to Instagram to announce that he's now a licensed pilot.
He even posted a photo of his pilot's ID.
