Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford will wed on April 20 and, at this point, they “just surrender” everything to their events planner La Belle Fete and event stylist Gideon Hermosa, among others.
“Kasi kung ako mismo yung magde-decide, baka naman hindi maganda or I don’t know.
“They know us so well also at this point; they know what we like, they know what we don’t like.
"They know our personalities, and at the same time I don’t want to clip their wings
"Because napakagaling naman talaga nila, I chose them for a reason.
"Billy and I selected them for a reason, and we really believe in what they are capable of.
“We really believe in what they can do,” Colleen explained during her despedida de soltera last April 14.
She clarified though, “There are some details na sinabi ko na, ‘Uy, ha, we want to inject this, we want to add this.’
“We want our personal touch here and there, and it’s easy naman.
“Never naging problema yung mga gusto namin and naitatawid din naman yung mga gusto namin.”
What was left for them to do was finalize the guest list, which the glowing bride-to-be found the most “stressful” part.
Colleen said, “Ang pinaka-worry naman talaga namin from the start is really the guests.
“So yung guest list, yung invitations, and who can come, and trying to make a way for those who aren’t able to come but want to, so yun yung pinaka-main source of our worries namin.”
She continued, “Ang hirap din naman talaga nung guest list lalo na we’re both from the industry.
“It’s really hard especially if we have to limit it to a certain amount.
“Parang kahit anong gusto naming gawin, kahit gaano ka-intimate yung gusto namin for our wedding.
"Mahirap talaga to exclude people.”
She said this was the same reason why their invitations arrived late.
“We only released them this month, same month of the wedding.
“Usually we do that around six to at least three months before the wedding.
"Pero ang sa amin kasi, that was our pagkukulang naman.”
Colleen told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and two other reporters they’ve invited around 250 family and closest friends.
Billy and Colleen’s wedding entourage includes Sharon Cuneta, Karla Estrada, and Representative Vilma Santos-Recto.
