Right after Rachelle Ann Go’s wedding in Boracay last April 18, 2018, event stylist Gideon Hermosa flew straight to Balesin Island for another grandiose outdoor celebrity event—the much-anticipated wedding of Coleen Garcia and Billy Crawford, which took place yesterday, April 20.
Balesin’s Costa Del Sol, the ceremony venue, was deemed as the fitting place for the couple to exchange “I dos” as “this Spanish village connects to the Spanish roots of Coleen.”

Gideon wove his magic to turn the venue into this…
In a prior interview, the blooming bride said that they just opted to “surrender” everything to their events planner La Belle Fete and Gideon, but made a few specific requests.
One of the couple's preferences was the use of subtle color, “something that matches the sea.”
To ensure this, the style team stuck to powder blue, lavender and lilac.
According to Gideon, the styling was inspired by the French Riviera, the Mediterranean coast of southeastern France.
He explained, "Inspired by French Riviera with 'lush' details juxtaposing intricate installations, this set up spells dreamy and ethereal wrapped into one concept.
"With 'luxe' mirror flooring and whimsical florals, this is the definition of 'love.'"
To achieve the “dreamy and ethereal” look both for the ceremony and the reception, Gideon and the team used 15 varieties of flowers which came all the way from Kenya, Ecuador, Amsterdam, Taiwan, and New Zealand.
He told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal), “For the flowers, we used 6,000 stems of powder blue hydrangea, 30,000 stems of white roses, 1,500 stems of delphiniums, 3,000 stems of other imported roses in diff shades of lilac. Then 5,500 stems of other varieties.”

Meanwhile, here’s a peek at the equally dreamy reception venue at The Balesin Royal Villa.
Best wishes, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Crawford!
