Daniel Padilla celebrated his 23rd birthday last night, April 26, with a formal dinner party at the Manila House Private Club in Bonifacio Global City.
It was an intimate party, which was also attended by Daniel’s dad, Rommel Padilla.
Being an old soul, the Kapamilya star picked The Great Gatsby, which was set in 1920s, as inspiration for his party.
Celebrity event stylist Gideon Hermosa draped the venue with golden accents, and used ornate crystal chandeliers.
Guests were clad in old-Hollywood glam.

Meanwhile, Daniel’s girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo went for a modern interpretation of the style era.
She dubbed it a “DJP-inspired” attire.
DJP stood for Daniel’s full name, Daniel John Padilla.
The young actress flaunted her flat tummy with a tube top under a matching grey plaid blazer and pants.
Kathryn attended the party with her mom, Min Bernardo.
One of the people who performed a special number for Daniel was his mom Karla.
Before her performance, she said, “[Si Daniel] ang unang nagbigay ng kahulugan sa masayang buhay.
“I love you, anak. Happy birthday.”
Karla serenaded her son with Michael Buble’s song, “You Don’t Know Me.”
GUEST LIST. Other celebrities spotted at Daniel’s party were his ninangs (L-R) Ruffa Gutierrez, Cristalle Belo, and Donita Rose.
Ruffa also brought her daughters Venice and Lorin, who are both fans of Daniel and Kathryn.
Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez were also present.
Daniel and Kathryn’s Pangako Sa ’Yo co-star Ian Veneracion also came, as well as Dominic Roque, Khalil Ramos, Marco Gumabao, and Anjo Damiles.
