Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla welcome son Alas to Christian world on his 1st birthday

Robin Padilla (left) is not going to miss the 1st birthday party of his grandson Alas Joaquin, the baby of his daughter Kylie Padila and her partner Aljur Abrenica (right). The jungle-themed party was held on Saturday, August 4, at 38 Valencia Events Place in Quezon City. Before the party, Baby Alas was baptized at the Parish of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary in West Avenue, Quezon City.


Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla have officially welcomed their son Alas to the Christian world.

Aljur and Kylie's family and closest friends witnessed Baby Alas's baptism, and some, like Gabbi Garcia, stood as his ninang.

Aljur shared a photo on Instagram and wrote, "Beautiful Ninangs the Second Moms of our Son. Marami pang ibang mga Ninangs na sa party na dumating. #AlasNumeroUno"

As for Baby Alas's ninongs, Aljur said he picked those who have had great influence on him on his journey to fatherhood.

Some of the names he tagged on his Instagram post included Dennis Mase and fitness coach Billy James Cash.

Aljur wrote, "I really took time in choosing Alas’s Ninongs. These people have had a huge impact on my journey to fatherhood."

Members of the Guiang Family—from Aljur's mother side—were in full attendance at baby Alas's baptism.

In a separate Instagram post, Aljur expressed his gratitude to his lola, Alice Guiang, for the values and wisdom she instilled in him when he was growing up.

He also thanked her for helping out with the preparations for the baptism.

Aljur wrote, "Sabi niya 'Oh pakilala mo mga Kumpare at Kumare mo sa isa’t isa. oh dapat alam mo rin ang pangalan ng pari'

"She even prepared the giveaways sa mga Ninong at Ninang.

"Sa madaling salita i’ve always admired her values and thoughtfulness #grateful"

BABY ALAS'S BIRTHDAY PARTY

Aside from the baptism, Aljur and Kylie also celebrated Baby Alas's 1st birthday.

Baby Alas had a Lion King-themed party complete with a jungle-inspired decors and animal displays at 38 Valencia Events Place in Quezon City.

In an interview with GMA News, Kylie said, "We wanted to be really hands-on kasi first birthday nga ni Alas."

Kylie's father Robin Padilla arrived at the party with his wife Mariel and their daughter Isabella.

According to an Instagram post of GMA correspondent Nelson Canlas, Aljur immediately paid his respect to Robin.

Mariel thanked Aljur and Kylie for having them at the party. 

She wrote in an Instagram post, "Thank you so much @kylienicolepadilla @ajabrenica and @officialalasjoaquin for inviting us!!!

"we had so much fun!!!! @mariaisabelladepadilla loved the Lion King musical by @madisoneventsinc superrrrr!!!!

"Everything was perfect!!!! Good job Momma Kylie... everyone enjoyed...

"Happiest birthday to the most handsome baby boy!!! Alas is the only 1yr old i know who actually enjoyed his first birthday

"he kept clapping and saying 'woooo wooo' what a joy he truly is!!!!! #AlasNumeroUno"

Gabbi was also among the firsts to greet Baby Alas on his birthday and expressed how excited she was to be one of Baby Alas's ninangs.

The former Encantadia star wrote, "Happy 1st birthday Alas!!! So kilig to be your ninang  @officialalasjoaquin @kylienicolepadilla @ajabrenica."

Nadia Montenegro and her daughters, Ynna and Alyana, were also present at Baby Alas's party.

Other celebrities present at the party were Diana Zubiri and her daughter Aliyah Rose as well as Kapuso couple Iya Villania and Drew Arellano with their son Baby Primo.
